the artist says the Braille Graffiti name tags were added at the suggestion of a blind person to raise the chance of seeing friends clueing them in. since the name tags are ugly and assume that the blind learn about their environment from the sighted, i.e. always already dependent, perhaps a useful approach would come from investigating the communication networks of blind people to open up other possibilities.
